GYROS
A gyro is a traditional Greek dish, a sandwich made with pita bread
containing meat, tomato, onion and tzatziki (a yogurt and cucumber
sauce). The meat for gyros is usually roasted on a tall vertical spit
and is sliced from the spit as required. The name "gyro" comes from the
modern Greek word "gyros" meaning "circle", a reference to the meat
turning as it is grilled in a rotating circular motion.
